Education
Learn to play
String instruction for every age and level, taught on Thursday evenings at Yuma High School. Beginner through advanced — and financial help if you need it.
Classes
Three levels, one orchestra
Orchestra Level I
For the brand-new student. Correct musical terms, sight reading, beginning notation and rhythms — and playing together from day one.
Orchestra Level II
For players building fluency. More advanced technique on the instrument, larger ranges, and greater independence in parts.
Orchestra Level III
Challenges students with advanced playing, music theory, and a wider range of musical styles and period performance practice.
Strings for All Ages
Our open ensemble night: violin, viola, cello, and bass players of every level rehearsing together. Thursdays, 5:30–6:45 PM at Yuma High School.
